2. BUS

There is a wide range of tourism companies in Hue that provide high-quality buses to Hoi An. The price is quite reasonable – around US$6-12 and it will take you 3 to 4 hours to head straight to Hoi An Ancient town. However, the downside of travelling by bus is that they will run through tunnels without passing by Hai Van Pass. Thus, if you just want to stay stable and transfer straight to Hoi An without taking extra vehicles, then bus is sure a good choice.

Train must be the favorite and safest way to transfer to the peaceful town of Hoi An, which offer you the chance to slowly admire the majestic Hai Van pass. However, there is no train station in Hoi An, so if you choose this way, you will have to take an extra vehicle like bus or taxi in Da Nang city to transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An.

There are 5 trains in total that depart from Hue to Da Nang: SE1, SE3, SE5, SE7 and TN1, which comes with different seat quality and ranges of price (around US4$).
